Richard Crane, Safety Manager of Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company has received the prestigious Sunshine State Safety Recognition Award from the University of South Florida. The award is given to recognize Florida businesses for their efforts to supplement and maintain an effective injury and illness prevention program/process.
“Receiving this award underscores the commitment Orchid Island Juice Company has to maintaining the safety and welfare of our workforce,” said John Martinelli, Executive Vice President, Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company. “Just as we take pride in producing the finest fresh squeezed citrus products, we are equally proud of our outstanding safety record,” Martinelli added.
According to Charlene Vespi, Program Director, University of South Florida, SafetyFlorida Consultation Program, “This award serves as a bridge to a greater awareness of what your company’s safety culture can do for you.” The award was given to Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company following a visit to the company’s Fort Pierce, Florida juice plant. “We wish to thank you for setting high standards as you continue to participate in the occupational safety and health of your workforce,” concluded Vespi.
