Indian River Lagoon Clean Up

About 1000 volunteer divers and environmentalists spent several weekends in July cleaning up the Indian River Lagoon for the 2nd Annual Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup. This precious resource is a 125-mile, brackish water estuary spawning the most diverse marine life in the Northern Hemisphere.

Several tons of trash were collected from the cleanup effort, which entailed volunteers picking up trash along coastal areas while divers scoured the lagoon’s floor. Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company is honored to have provided refreshements to these dedicated residents! A green company, OIJC supports organizations and individuals who care for and protect the planet.
